Stephanie Di Stasi is an assistant professor in the Department of Orthopaedics at The Ohio State University and research scientist in the Sports Medicine Research Institute. The main focus of Dr. Di Stasi’s research is to understand mechanisms of disability in individuals with hip and knee injuries, with the overall goal of developing effective rehabilitation strategies to improve function and maximize physical activity across the lifespan. Her expertise is in rehabilitation trials, three-dimensional biomechanical analyses and clinical testing procedures. Dr. Di Stasi’s research has been funded by the Sports Section of the American Physical Therapy Association, the National Center for Advancing Translational Science, Ohio State's Center for Clinical and Translational Science and Ohio State’s David Berger Memorial Fund. She maintains part-time clinical practice in Ohio State Sports Medicine Physical Therapy Clinic and leads its Clinical Outcomes Research Coordinator program.
