Guy Brock, PhD, is a research associate professor in the Departments of Biomedical Informatics and Center for Biostatistics. His current research focuses in the areas of statistical genetics, bioinformatics, and genomics. Recent projects include integrated analysis of miRNA-mRNA data, competing risks and multi-state models, and missing value estimation in microarray data.

Prior to joining The Ohio State University, Dr. Brock with the faculty in the Department of Statistics in the University of Louisville from 2005 - 2015 and served as the director of the statistical consulting center from 2007 - 2015. Before this he completed a postdoctoral research position in statistical genetics at the University of Pittsburgh from 2003 - 2005. Dr. Brock received his Ph.D. in statistics from the University of New Mexico in 2003 and also has a M.S. in statistics (University of New Mexico) and B.S. in Biochemistry (University of Colorado).​​​​​​​​
