Eligibility to receive the S.A.G.E. certificate
Both professionals and Ohio State University graduate students are eligible for the Ohio State University S.A.G.E. Certificate of Completion in Gerontology from the Office of Geriatrics and Gerontology; however, some exclusions apply.
Who is eligible for the Certificate?
All professionals seeking continuing education are eligible for the Certificate of Completion in Gerontology. All Ohio State University graduate students not enrolled in the Specialization in Aging are eligible for the Certificate.
Who is excluded from earning the Certificate?
Ohio State University graduate students enrolled in the Specialization in Aging Program are not eligible for the Certificate if the Ohio State University S.A.G.E. - All participants must apply by the designated registration deadline
- Ohio State graduate students are also required to enroll through The Ohio State University
- Students wishing to audit the course, including Program 60 students, should email aging@osu.edu for permission
- Registration is a one-time process; please do not re-register at any time
- Class size is limited, so feel free to email us at aging@osu.edu to "hold your place" in the next series

Please email aging@osu.edu for individual course certificates if needed.

Complete S.A.G.E. program fee: $1,875.00, at $625.00 per course

Not ready to commit to the whole series? No problem! Take one course and see what you think. The series can be completed in any order, though we recommend starting in January for the best experience.
Please note that Ohio State University graduate students taking the Ohio State S.A.G.E. Program do not have to pay the above fees; graduate school tuition already covers the cost of this course. If you are an Ohio State graduate student who wants to take the S.A.G.E. Program, please officially enroll for the course via buckeyelink.
Please email aging@osu.edu for any questions related to the above costs or if you would like to enquire about organization discounts.
