Biography
I am a clinical assistant professor in the department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health. My research interests include interdisciplinary and integrated approaches to suicide research and prevention. I've presented on these topics and articulated the need for suicide assessment and treatment preparation for professional counselors at the local, state, and national level.

Current Research
Recently I received funding to explore the experiences, attitudes, and practices of women gun owners to inform safe storage practices and recommendations around firearms suicide prevention. I'm passionate about elevating the voices of folks with lived experience of suicide through research and clinical care.
