CommUNITYten: The Big Ten Academic Alliance (BTAA) for Women in Medicine and Biomedical Science Conference

Women compose half of the scientific and medical workforce in this country yet hold fewer leadership positions than their counterparts. Research shows that formal programs and events to build allyship, peer sponsorship and peer support boost gender equity in these fields.

Drive change and help create a more inclusive environment in academia at a conference hosted by the Big Ten Academic Alliance at The Ohio State University.

The inaugural CommUNITYten: The Big Ten Academic Alliance (BTAA) for Women in Medicine and Biomedical Science Conference will help academic trainees, staff and faculty build relationship and support to form networks that increase their visibility and promotion in their fields. Members of industry in these fields are also welcome to attend.
