Interventional Pulmonology Fellowship Program
This one-year fellowship training program is aimed at providing a comprehensive exposure to all aspects of advanced diagnostic, therapeutic and palliative procedures in pulmonary medicine.
Our goal is to ensure that the fellow is fully trained and competent with the use of various diagnostic and therapeutic armamentariums that are available for the care of patients with complex airway, lung and pleural diseases. At this time, we are able to offer only one position per year.
Pulmonary Critical Care Fellowship Program
The goal of our fellowship program is to provide a well-rounded training experience designed to enhance our fellows’ clinical skills and scientific knowledge while providing them with the tools necessary to develop their research potential.
Our program offers an outstanding balance in clinical experiences, educational activities and research training. We offer state-of-the-art facilities, a diverse patient population, the full spectrum of specialized clinical programs, an active interventional bronchoscopy section and a wide range of basic science and clinical research opportunities.
Transplant Pulmonology Fellowship Program
Our one-year Transplant Pulmonology Fellowship offers hands-on experience managing the comprehensive care of lung transplantation. The program is a collaboration between The Ohio State University’s Comprehensive Transplant Center and the Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine.
Sleep Medicine Fellowship Program
This one-year ACGME-accredited clinical fellowship is focused on adult sleep medicine with rotations in adult sleep, pediatric sleep, neurology and psychiatry. The fellows also have clinical experiences with otolaryngology, dentistry and psychology.
In addition, opportunities to participate in clinical or bench research will be given in an area of interest to the fellows. Upon completion of the fellowship, our fellows will be armed with the scientific knowledge and clinical skills to be excellent clinicians in the area of sleep medicine.

This is our introductory lecture series for incoming pulmonary fellows aimed at providing a foundation in basic pulmonary physiology, pulmonary function testing, bronchoscopy, mechanical ventilation and airway management. It is also perfect for nurses, medical students, residents or fellows wishing to improve their knowledge base for pulmonary clinic or the intensive care unit.
