Our bench- research is performed in laboratories housed in the Davis Heart and Lung Research Institute which is situated in the medical campus area of the university. Our investigators have access to cutting-edge technologies in flow cytometry, mass spectrometry, imaging, bioinformatics and statistics, cell biology and for the development of animal models, and high quality and clinically annotated tissue biospecimens to facilitate translational research. Our investigators are surrounded by a wealth of resources and infrastructure associated with The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center and the OSU College of Medicine to lead clinical trials, contributing to the bench- to- bedside approach that fosters translational research. In addition, our investigators collaborate with other faculty within the College of Medicine at OSU, with universities across the nation and across the world.
