Several times a year, Ohio State brings together distinguished practitioners in the field to showcase the latest in best practices and medical management of sports-related injuries. Our physician lead (course director) in the respective topic works with a multidisciplinary team to build annual events that appeal to a variety of healthcare scientists – from medical management to nutrition to psychology to biomechanics and injury prevention. The format is a combination of lectures, live demonstrations and hands-on laboratory breakout sessions.

Ohio State Sports Medicine is an approved provider of continuing education for athletic trainers by the Board of Certification. CEUs are offered for physical therapists and PT assistants through the Ohio Physical Therapy Association and for physicians through the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) or American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP).
