The Division of Anatomy at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center hosts a series of continuing education units (CEU) in gross anatomy. This comes in response to the increasing need for educators who are able to teach a detailed level of gross anatomy in different academic settings.

Gross Anatomy

This unique CEU will be delivered by professors of anatomy using lectures, labs and tutorials. Participants will also be given the opportunity to learn detailed anatomy by dissecting a human cadaver. This superior method of learning wouldn’t be available without the generous gift of our body donors.

Upon completion, participants will be awarded a Certificate of Completion from The Ohio State University, Office of Distance Education & eLearning, covering 3 CEUs. The participation fee is $950, which covers all lab materials, equipment and other expenses.

Limited seats are available. For more information about this continuing education unit, please contact Dr. Derek Harmon.

Translational Head and Neck Anatomy

This course, housed within the College of Dentristry, allows participants to learn by examining traditional and fresh-like embalmed specimens in order to figure out specific case scenarios. The goal of this CEU is to correlate relevant anatomy with patient examination and treatment optimization.
