DHLRI Flow Core

The DHLRI Flow Cytometry Core supports researchers with access to advanced instrumentation for cellular and nanoparticle analysis. The Core features three platforms: the Cytek Northern Lights for full-spectrum cellular analysis, the Cytek Aurora CS for high-parameter cell sorting, and the NanoFCM for nanoparticle and extracellular vesicle characterization.

The Core’s self-service model enables trained researchers to operate instruments independently, with support available for panel design, troubleshooting, or hands-on assistance at the bench. In addition to instrument access, the Core offers assisted cell sorting, data acquisition, and ongoing technical guidance.

The facility serves researchers from DHLRI, the broader Ohio State community, and external collaborators, providing a centralized resource to support high-quality, reproducible flow cytometry at accessible rates.
