The Shoulder and Elbow Fellowship program is a one-year training program which is fully accredited by the American Shoulder and Elbow Societies. The program is designed to offer one fellow per year, a comprehensive exposure to all aspects of shoulder and elbow surgery. The fellow works with 6 full time fellowship trained faculty (3 active ASES members, 1 associate member, and 1 candidate member) all who have a high volume of shoulder and elbow cases.
The program covers the full range of shoulder and elbow surgery from arthroscopy to arthroplasty, and a wide-ranging referral practice of complex primary and revision surgery from around the region. The shoulder service also serves as team physicians for OSU and other local athletic teams. Experience is also afforded with a hand fellowship trained surgeon who provides experience in complex elbow reconstruction including elbow trauma and arthroplasty, as well as elbow arthroscopy.

Applications for fellowship are accepted through the SF Match. Applications are reviewed by the selection committee and are selected on the basis of their preparedness, ability, aptitude, academic credentials, communication skills and personal qualities.
