At Ohio State, fellows work with our world-renowned microsurgeons to learn skills and expertise this in highly specialized field.

Fellows are exposed to a broad spectrum of microsurgery, including those related to trauma, cancer and those of pediatric or congenital nature. Fellows will gain experience in specialized procedures such as multi-flap breast reconstruction, lymphedema, mesenteric lymph node transfer, targeted muscle reinnervation, supercharged jejunal transfer, nerve transfer and advanced orthoplastic reconstruction. Opportunities to participate in multidisciplinary programs such as military medicine, orthoplastic surgery and neuroplastic surgery are available during the fellowship.
