Are you a fourth year medical student interested in a sub-internship?

During your rotation, you will participate fully with residents and faculty. You will be immersed in the field of plastic and reconstructive surgery with experiences in the operating room, clinic and departmental conferences. You will participate in a large variety of plastic surgical cases, providing an excellent overview of the specialty. At the end of the rotation, each sub-intern is expected to deliver an end-of-rotation presentation to faculty and residents on a plastic surgical topic.

Sub-internship application requirements:
  • Complete application submitted via VSLO
  • CV (including performance on core clerkships)
  • USMLE (step one pass/fail, number of attempts)
  • Statement/paragraph on why you want to do a sub-internship at Ohio State)
  • Letter of recommendation (preferably from your home institution)

Complete applications will be reviewed on a first come, first served basis.
