Enables students with introductory human gross anatomy experience the opportunity to further investigate the human body through the complete dissection of a human cadaver.
Prereq: A grade of B- or better in 2300 or 3300, or equivalent; and an application (with selection process), and permission of Course Director. This course is graded S/U.

Enables students with introductory human gross anatomy experience the opportunity to further investigate the human body through the in-depth independent dissection of one or more regions of the human body.
Prereq: A grade of B- or above in 2300 or 3300 or equivalent and permission of Course Director. Repeatable to a maximum of 6 credit hours. This course is graded A-E.

Musculoskeletal anatomy of the human body through an in-depth dissection experience.
Prereq: Enrolled in DPT or MOT programs, and permission of instructor.
Credits: 5

Enables the student to pursue a minor investigation in some anatomical field of choice.
Prereq: Grad standing in Anatomy, or permission of instructor. Repeatable to a maximum of 15 cr hrs or 5 completions. This course is graded S/U.

Guided regional human cadaveric dissection for graduate students outside the Anatomy MS or PhD programs. The course allows for focus on a specific region of human anatomy dissection. Allow for 4-8 hours/week of lab dissection. Instructor permission to enroll.

Prereq: Grad standing, and permission of instructor. Not open to students enrolled in the Anatomy MS or PhD program. Repeatable to a maximum of 10 credit hours or 3 completions.

Introduces dental students to the basic concepts of human gross anatomy, histology, neuroscience, and embryology.
Prereq: Enrollment in Dentistry, or permission of instructor.

Designed to acquaint a graduate student with a basic knowledge of human embryology.
Prereq: Grad standing in Anatomy, or permission of instructor.

The microscopic study of cells, tissues, and organs with particular emphasis on human material. The microscopic structure of various organ systems is integrated with their functions.
Prereq: Grad standing in Anatomy, or permission of instructor.

Introduces graduate students to the basic concepts of human neuroanatomy.
Prereq: Grad standing in Anatomy, or permission of instructor. Not open to students with credit for NeuroSc 716.

Graduate level study of human anatomy by regional dissection. Anatomy 3300 or equivalent is recommended.
Prereq: Permission of instructor.

Practical experience developing education tool(s) and/or curricular component(s) in anatomy.

Advanced head and neck anatomy for residents in the dental specialties.
Prereq: DDS or equivalent, and enrollment as a resident or fellow in a dental residency program.

Application of knowledge of the anatomy of the human body to the interpretation and understanding of diagnostic images.
Prereq: 6900 or equivalent, and permission of instructor.

Readings and discussion of topics in anatomical education or biomedical pedagogy and curricular development pertinent to anatomy.
Prereq: Graduate standing in Anatomy, or permission of instructor. This course is graded S/U. This course is repeatable to a maximum of 8 credit hours with content change.

Readings and discussion of topics in anatomical and/or biomedical research, along with research methods in the field of anatomy.
Prereq: Graduate standing in anatomy or permission of instructor. This course is graded S/U. This course is repeatable to a maximum of 8 credit hours with content change.

A regionally based clinical approach to the study of human anatomy. Case studies or clinical reports in addition to clinical anatomical imaging including radiographs, ultrasound, computed tomography, and magnetic resonance imaging techniques and images will be introduced and integrated into class activities so that students are able to understand and demonstrate clinical presentations of disease and the techniques used in the assessment of human pathology.
Prereq: 6900 or equivalent and  Graduate standing in Anatomy or permission of instructor.

Designed to enable the student to conduct an in-depth research investigation in some anatomical field of choice.

Discussion of selected topics in histology based on-depth readings of the primary biomedical literature. Sample topics might include bone and connective tissues, cardiovascular, respiratory tissues.

Mammalian embryological development using descriptive and experimental studies in a variety of vertebrate models to present current information on molecular mechanisms responsible for normal development and birth defect in humans. Anatomy 6600 recommended.
Prereq: Graduate or professional standing; or medical or dental residency; or advanced undergraduate, and permission of instructor. Repeatable to a maximum of 4 cr hrs.

In-depth study of human anatomy using multiplanar sections of the body obtained using modern imaging modalities (computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, and ultrasonography) emphasizing the inter-relationships of structures to one another.
Prereq: 6900 or equivalent, and permission of instructor. Repeatable to a maximum of 20 credit hours or five completions.

In-depth dissection of one or more regions of the human body supplemented with literature research.
Prereq: 6900 or equivalent, and permission of instructor. Repeatable to a maximum of 24 credit hours or six completions.

A teaching practicum involving direct participation in classroom teaching under the guidance of a faculty mentor.
Prereq: Permission of instructor. Repeatable to a maximum of 10 credit hours or 10 completions. This course is graded S/U.
