Diane Gorgas, MD, is a professor of emergency medicine at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. She has been active in global health work in Haiti since 2011. She is nationally involved with the American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM) and sits on the Emergency Medicine Review Committee for the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME).

Rosalia Mahr, MD, is an assistant professor of Emergency Medicine and Pediatric Emergency Medicine at the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center at Nationwide Children’s Hospital. She additionally has completed an Emergency Ultrasound Fellowship through the Ohio State University. She has spent time in Uganda and Malawi teaching point-of-care ultrasound. More recently her efforts have been teaching emergency medicine and point-of-care ultrasound in Western Honduras.

Sharon Clark, MD, FACP, FAAP, FHM, is an associate professor of Internal Medicine and Pediatrics and hospitalist physician at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center and Nationwide Children's Hospital. She has spent time working in Indonesia, is a founding leader of the OSUWMC Global Health Interest Group and serves as the Director of the Global Health Scholars Program for residents. She is also an Executive Committee member of the OSU Global One Health Initiative and plans the annual Summer Institute Internal Medicine Training Series, building capacity among health professionals in eastern Africa and beyond. Nationally, she serves on the Consortium of Universities for Global Health (CUGH) Education Committee.

Poorvi Hardman, DO, is an assistant professor of Internal Medicine with the Division of General Internal Medicine. She is a founding member of the OSUWMC Global Health Interest Group and has been heavily involved in developing the Global Health Scholars Program, serving as the Associate Director.

Pamela Potter serves as the associate director of the Office of Global Health in the College of Medicine. Ms. Potter provides oversight of the daily administration and operation of the OGH. She is also the administrative director for the Health Sciences Center for Global Health. Prior to her role at OSU, she served as the Chief of Staff to the Executive Dean for the Georgetown University School of Medicine.

Kevin Douglas is the program manager for the Office of Global Health in the College of Medicine. He oversees the global health electives for fourth-year medical students as well as various other global health initiatives within the College’s curriculum. Kevin has a master’s degree in Public Policy and Management and has been with the University since 2015.
