Advanced Practice Provider Fellows
Corey Becker, APRN-CNP, MSN, graduated from The University of Cincinnati in May 2019 with a Master of Science in Nursing with specialization as a Family Nurse Practitioner. He worked as a staff nurse on The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center’s electrophysiology/step-down unit from 2012 – 2015 and 2015 – 2016 as the assistant nurse manager. In 2016, he began working in the invasive prep and recovery unit where they manage outpatient interventional cardiology and electrophysiology procedures, which is his most recent role before beginning the APP Fellowship. Corey was born in Columbus and raised in Westerville, Ohio, and currently resides in Hilliard. He’s very excited and grateful for this opportunity to continue to call Ohio State his home. He spends his free time with family and friends and is an avid Buckeye and Cleveland sports fan. He’s looking forward to an exciting year ahead!
Bethany Bogantz, APRN-CNP, MSN, earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing with a minor in Spanish from Mount Vernon Nazarene University. She previously worked at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center’s hybrid unit, called a “short-stay unit,” that strives to keep patients out of the hospital while connecting them to primary care providers and necessary resources. In May 2020, Bethany earned her Master of Science from The Ohio State University in the Family Nurse Practitioner Program. She is extremely passionate about medical missions and has been on nine international mission trips through her church and various organizations. She loves building relationships with people who come from various backgrounds, cultures and ethnicities. Her hobbies include traveling/going on mission trips, spending time with family, exercising and visiting new coffee shops. She feels extremely blessed to part of the APP Fellowship program, and is eager to grow in her knowledge and skill sets in the coming year!
Gabrielle (Gabi) Houser, APRN-CNP, MSN, received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from The Ohio State University in 2017. She gained experience working as a nurse in the Ross Heart Hospital at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center on the electrophysiology/cardiology unit. She went on to receive her Master of Science from Mount Carmel College of Nursing and obtained certification as a family nurse practitioner in 2020. Gabi works for the Department of Family and Community Medicine as an advanced practice provider fellow, where she rotates to various Family Medicine practice locations.
