Mission statement
Improving the health of the communities served by Ohio State University Department of Family Medicine and Community Health through:
- Improving access to care for vulnerable populations
- Engaging with community leaders to advocate for and address community health priorities
- Expanding the capacity of community-based providers
- Developing inter- and intra-institutional partnerships through service, education, and research to promote health and prevent disease

Walk with A Doc – Whitehall Senior Center

The Department of Family and Community Medicine is seeking a physician volunteer for this Walk with A Doc event at the Whitehall Senior Center. A physician and topic are still needed.
This event provides an opportunity to engage older adults in light physical activity and health education in a supportive community setting.
