ATHENS 2021
The inaugural Annual Therapeutic Endoscopy Symposium (ATHENS) was held June 5, 2021, with keynote speaker Todd Baron, MD. Joined by more than 100 attendees, ATHENS’ topics included extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy, confocal laser endomicroscopy, interventional EUS including the EDGE procedure and third-space endoscopy including peroral endoscopic myotomy. Case presentations discussed emerging endoscopic vacuum therapy and EUS-guided gastrojejunostomy.
