About the program

This 12-to-24 month, non-ACGME-accredited fellowship in pancreatic disorders will provide you with specialized experience in evaluating and managing pancreatic diseases. One of few hospitals in the United States designated as a Pancreatitis and Pancreatic Cancer Center of Excellence by the National Pancreas Foundation (NPF), The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is proud to offer this unique fellowship program designed to develop the skills needed for an academic career in medical pancreatology.

This program is best suited to candidates who have completed a gastroenterology fellowship and are pursuing an academic career in medical pancreatology. Exceptional candidates may be considered prior to gastroenterology fellowship. An optional second year may be pursued; this is primarily for additional research time, with availability dependent on successful completion of the first-year curriculum and pending external funding opportunities.
