The Artificial Intelligence in Digital Health (AIDH) Core supports advanced biomedical and clinical research conducted by OSU investigators by enabling innovative studies that leverage artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) to integrate and analyze complex, multimodal health data sets.

The AIDH Core develops, utilizes, and coordinates data-intensive computational approaches for large-scale health data analysis, including predictive modeling, natural language processing, computer vision, graph-based learning, and generative AI methods. The Core assists researchers in accessing and harmonizing diverse data sources—including electronic health records, medical imaging, clinical notes, genomics, wearable data, and multi-omics datasets—to generate new hypotheses and derive actionable insights through integrative analysis of clinical and biomedical data. The AIDH Core fosters interdisciplinary collaborations with OSU researchers; customizes AI/ML workflows to meet project-specific needs; interprets and visualizes analytical results; and supports manuscript preparation as well as the design and planning of grant applications.
