The Ohio State Neurological Institute’s Department of Neurological Surgery offers a wide array of clinical, research and teaching resources, including state-of-the-art facilities. Our hospitals, research laboratories, libraries, classrooms and other facilities provide the leading-edge surroundings and comprehensive support our teams need to continue Ohio State’s leadership in academic research and medicine.
 
Here, more than 100 buildings — modern hospitals, offices, labs and classrooms — house the most technologically advanced research, teaching and patient care programs in the region.

An additional advantage is our relationship with renowned affiliates, such as Nationwide Children’s Hospital. This healthcare and research leader serves neurosurgical patients from birth to age 21, and selected adults with congenital neurological disorders. The Division of Pediatric Neurosurgery treats rare brain tumors and other complex conditions in a new, state-of-the-art neurosurgical operating room, equipped with intraoperative MRI, advanced neurosurgical microscope system and stereotactic guidance.
