Laura Hall, PharmD, BCPS is a clinical pharmacist at The Ohio State University Division of General Internal Medicine clinics, currently practicing at Stoneridge GIM in Dublin, OH. Laura received her Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy at The Ohio State University College of Pharmacy, practiced in a hospital setting before returning to OSU to complete her Post-BS Doctor of Pharmacy degree. She spent time working with Family Medicine inpatient/outpatient before taking her current position at the College of Pharmacy. She is a Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist (BCPS). After working within a Federally Qualified Health Center network of practice sites, she transitioned to her clinical practice with OSU GIM, and works in the office setting two and a half days per week.
Laura believes patients should obtain the best evidence based health care and advice on their medications. Assuring patients understand and are able to follow the providers agreed upon plan without barriers to their medications is a priority. She assists by providing pharmacy clinical services collaborating with physicians and nurse practitioners to design therapeutic monitoring plans for patients. She performs comprehensive medication reviews, works with patients to reach goals for their diabetes and other chronic disease states, and helps resolve medication related challenges. Laura also shares responsibilities with the team of GIM pharmacists to provide transitional care management and population health management across OSU GIM practice sites.
