About the Program

The Transplant Hepatology Fellowship training program at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is a one-year intensive clinical program designed to comply with Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) requirements.

The fellowship also meets American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) requirements for board eligibility and certification in Transplant Hepatology. Ohio State's Transplant Hepatology Fellowship training program provides fellows with extensive inpatient and outpatient clinical experience as well as longitudinal didactic teaching. The program prepares fellows to:

  • Manage advanced liver disease
  • Be fully competent in transplant hepatology
  • Diagnose and manage complex hepatology issues
