The Department of Ophthalmology & Visual Sciences is dedicated to providing high quality continuing medical education to physicians and other healthcare professionals in order to facilitate the delivery of better and enhanced patient care and outcomes. We offer a variety of educational programs, each tailored to fit different audiences.

Retina Case Forum This is a case based forum designed for retina physicians and ophthalmologists featuring an open forum discussion of exceptional and challenging examples in management of complex ocular disease.

Alumni Fall Vision Forum Practicing ophthalmologists evaluate corneal, glaucoma, oculoplastic, and retinal cases.

Jacob Moses Lectureship This lectureship is presented yearly during the annual Postgraduate Symposium in March. It is intended to promote clinical education for established ophthalmologists, optometrists, and learners, as well as others devoted to the profession of eye care.

Postgraduate Symposium (March Meeting) Practicing ophthalmologists evaluate cases involving patients with cornea and retinal problems, as well as glaucoma.
