The Mazzaferri-Ellison Society of Master Clinicians, established in 2018, honors Dr. Ernie Mazzaferri Sr. and Dr. Christopher Ellison for their exceptional service. The honorary society recognizes outstanding clinicians who excel in clinical practice, clinical teaching, mentoring/role modeling, professionalism, leadership and service to the profession and institution. Induction into the society is a prestigious honor, reserved for full-time associate professors, professors or emeritus professors who are part of the medical staff at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center or Nationwide Children’s Hospital.
