Applications for the Integrated Interventional Radiology IR/DR Residency Program and the Independent Interventional Radiology Residency are accepted through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) only. Please refer to ERAS or the contact person at your school to learn more about applying for residency.

ERAS is sponsored by the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC), and transmits residency applications, letters of recommendation, deans' letters, transcripts and other supporting credentials from medical schools to residency program directors. For the Integrated Residency, we do not require any additional documents beyond those required by the ERAS.

Application Requirements

In order to be considered for our training program, we require the following:
  • Completion and submission of the ERAS common application form
  • Dean's letter
  • An official copy of your medical school transcript
  • USMLE or COMLEX test scores
  • Personal statement
  • Three additional letters of recommendation from physicians who are acquainted with your work or capabilities.
  • A virtual interview conducted via Zoom

The application deadline for the Integrated Residency is October 4, 2023.

Applications will not be reviewed after this date. To be eligible for appointment to the IR Independent program, residents must have successfully completed an accredited Diagnostic Radiology program, with ESIR designation. Positions for the IR-Independent program will be filled through the NRMP Match, with applications submitted through ERAS. The application deadline is December 13, 2023, with interviews conducted January thru March.

Interview Day

Interviews are offered by invitation, and are a required part of the selection process.The virtual interview experience is designed so that you will have the opportunity to learn more about the program, meet with members of our selection committee, and engage with current radiology residents.
