Welcome from the Director

The Division of General Obstetrics and Gynecology at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is a multidisciplinary professional team including obstetrician-gynecologists, minimally invasive surgeons, complex family planning specialists, pediatric and adolescent gynecologists, certified nurse midwives, and nurse practitioners. Our goal is to provide outstanding, inclusive, patient-centered, evidence-based care to our community, while educating the next generation of health care providers, advocating for the public’s health, and leading the nation with innovation and discovery. Our professional team, supported by our expert clinical office staff and registered nurses, see patients at the Ohio State offices and affiliated programs throughout the metropolitan Columbus area. We provide preventive health care, obstetrical services (including VBAC) and gynecologic care — both surgical and nonsurgical. Our providers are actively engaged in teaching at The Ohio State University colleges of Nursing and Medicine as well as in advancing health care through research and program development.
