Medical Student Precepting
Our Lead.Serve.Inspire. (LSI) curriculum ensures our future Buckeye physicians will improve lives through personalized healthcare and service. Alumni are invited to serve as a volunteer LP Preceptor, providing mentorship and training to medical students in clinical settings.
The Longitudinal Practice Preceptorship (LP) spans over the first two years of medical school with students placed in a clinical practice setting early in their first year. The curriculum’s focus on a team-based clinical experience enhances the students’ integration into clinical practice and teaches them to apply foundational science concepts to patient care.

Body Donation Program
The study of human anatomy is an essential component of medical education. Donating your body to science is a wonderful way to help the advancement of medical science and health initiatives.
All of us are the final beneficiaries of the knowledge gained by students, physicians and researchers. Anatomical gifts are central to the education of physicians, dentists, nurses, physical and occupational therapists, and other medical professionals of the future, and thus to better patient care as well as prevention and treatment of medical conditions.
